Chaitra Navratri 2019
According to the Hindu calendar in a tenure of one year we observe 4 navratri which are magha navratra,ashada navratri,chaitra navratri and sharada navratri.Among these four navratras sharada navratri and chaitra navratri are most important ones.
Chaitra Navratri 2019 will starts in chaitra month in which along with the worship of godess we also worship our kul devi and devtas.

-In 2019 the chaitra navratri will start from 6 april which is on saturday and will go on till 14 april
-when to put the kalash-Early morning 6:09am to 10:19am
-the total diration while you can place the kalash will be 4hrs.
'Chaitra Navratri' occurs in vasant ritu so it is also called vasant navratri
Just like the ashnwini navratri i.e, ashawad navratri the same godess MAA DURGA's seven avatar are worshiped which areshailputri,bhrahmacharini,chandraghanta,krishmanda,sankadmata,katyani, kalratrimahagauri and sidhidatri are worshiped.
People fast for 9 days and on the 9th day kanya puja(worshipping small girl child by offering them prasad)they break their fasting.This year "Chaitra Navratri" will start from 6th of april to 14th of april.
